| FIRE IT UP completely takes on the vibe of AC/DC and "Pyromania" era Def Leppard. Swagger, grit, and mighty, mighty hard rock hooks and riffs galore. Rediculously great. |
With so much red tape to work through to get the commercial metal classic, PEACE TREATY (1992) reissued, Retroactive Records approached the band about actually RE-RECORDING the album. Since the band was never fully pleased with the album anyway, they agreed, eager to add heavier guitars, more solos, and make changes they'd wanted to make for years!
The ballad, "Hold On" was replaced, with the song "Fire It Up" which is a new song recorded (2006) and added to the album. The song was so good, and embracing the traditional AC/DC vibe that fans have yearned for, they decided to actually rename the album after the song. You also get all new artwork! The title track, "Fire It Up" gives fans a taste of what to expect for the band's all new release, BACK IN RED, which will be in stores next year (2007). |

| Formed in 1989 by guitarist Greg Bishop, X-Sinner blew on to the southern California metal scene with their debut release "Get It" on A&M Records in Hollywood. With five top ten singles, "Get It" was nominated for a Dove award. The band quickly gained an international fan base as the album drew rave reviews and extensive U.S. radio airplay. Their sophomore release in 1991 "Peace Treaty" was distributed by Word Records and was also became a huge hit. Sounding like a mix between such mega popular bands Kix, AC/DC and Def Leppard, X-Sinner brought a unique original spin to this genre of music. After a lengthy battle to be released from their production label Pakaderm Records in the mid-nineties, the band got back to recording in 2000. The band has released several limited edition recordings since then of pre-production and demo songs from their archives over the last decade including "Loud And Proud", and a fully produced experimental album called "X-Sinner Presents The Angry Einsteins". The group offered a re-tracked version of it's second release "Peace Treaty" titled "Fire It Up" in '06/07 and an all new 11 song album in 2008/09 called World Covered In Blood. Rex Scott's sand paper vocals and the bands straight up rhythm section offer up a boogie woogie style of hard rock with very infectious grooves. With an international fan base X-Sinner continues to rock hard and proves it with their new critically acclaimed release. |
